This is an old wives tale. Your heart is a muscle, and muscles thrive on exercise! The best natural remedy for preventing and improving heart disease is regular exercise.

Exercise expands the blood vessels around the heart. This can actually save your life, in the case of a blood clot making a beeline path for one of your coronary arteries.
