Reduce the Risk of Lung Cancer

Did you know that drinking just one or two glasses of red wine per day can reduce your risk of lung cancer by 60%? I was shocked when I found this information out. My mother died in 2000 from lung cancer due to smoking.

A study of more than 84,000 men found that smokers tho consumed one to two glasses of red wine daily over a six year period were 60% less likely to develop lung cancer. White wine does not have the same effect, so make sure that if you are a smoker or have ever smoked that your daily relaxing happy hour consists of red wine!

Red wine seems to be good for many things. I know in past years researchers have claimed that red wine is good for heart health, and is also good for helping control high blood pressure. Of course other steps are necessary to maintain good health, but red wine certainly seems to do its share of good!
