Cancer, Sleep and Exercise

Recently I saw a segment of the news talking about cancer in women. This report stated that by simply walking or doing some type of light exercise for 20 minutes 5 days per week and getting plenty of sleep could reduce all types of cancer in women by 20%!

I know in todays time women always seem to be busy - there aren't enough hours in the day. But listen to your body. When it's telling you it is tired, get your beauty sleep. It will pay off in improved health and a reduced rate of cancer.

This same segment was discussing waist size and the risk of early death. In women, if your waist measurement is greater than 36 inches you have an increased chance of dying earlier than a woman whose waist size is smaller. For men, the number seems to be 40 inches. They say that fat on this area of your body places an increased burden on your heart.

Time to get rid of that belly!

Experts are not sure how exercise reduces cancer risk but believe hormone levels, immune function and body weight may all be involved. But not getting enough sleep could wipe out the effects, and even increase the risk of developing cancer, the study found.

I just wanted to add that another very powerful cure and prevention of many cancers is Vitamin B17, the biggest amount of it you will be able to find in the apricot nuts or seeds, but don't overdose on them...
